What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
Search keywords — the niche keywords you enter are sent to our AI analysis service. They are cached for 24 hours to avoid redundant API calls and are not linked to your identity.
IP address — used only for rate limiting (to prevent abuse). We do not store IP addresses beyond the current rate-limiting window.
Email address — only if you voluntarily join our Pro waitlist. We store this with Mailchimp and use it solely to notify you when the Pro plan launches.
What we do not collect
No cookies or tracking pixels
No browsing behaviour or session recordings
No device fingerprinting
No advertising identifiers
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For search keywords and IP addresses: Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — necessary to provide the service and prevent abuse.
For email addresses: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — you explicitly opt in when joining the waitlist. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Third-party services
Google Gemini AI — search keywords are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate analysis. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Upstash Redis — used for caching and rate limiting. Keywords are cached for 24 hours. No personal data is stored.
Mailchimp — email addresses for the waitlist are stored on Mailchimp's servers in the US. Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel may process request logs including IP addresses per their privacy policy.
Your rights
Under GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for email communications at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
Lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority) at datatilsynet.no
Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
